Experience the RAMMYS
I wrote this article based on my colleagues’ experience at the 2017 Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s Annual Awards. I conducted interviews with several of them, shared my notes, and drafted this article for our company’s e-newsletter, blog, and the LinkedIn posting.
Welcome to the World’s Fair, 1893
My client, MassMutual, was taking their prestigious annual meeting to Chicago with the theme “Live Mutual,” their marketing strategy at the time. With the World’s Fair 125th anniversary in the same year of their meeting, I drew comparisons to “Live Mutual” and the “coming together” atmosphere of the Exposition. A lot of research was involved in accurately depicting Chicago in the late 19th century, the impact of the World’s Fair, and MassMutual’s history. Please have a look at a piece of the proposal explaining the 1893 World’s Fair as the backdrop for their conference.
